This is the diary of our family sailing voyage aboard a 46 Foot Sailing Catamaran. We are Michael and Barb, with our children Danielle and Harrison who were 11 and 8 when we started in October 2009 from San Diego. We've been cruising through Mexico and the next leg of our travels takes us to the South Pacific.

Last night we attended the Pacific Puddle Jumpers’ Tahitian Beach Party Send-off in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. We had a blast, dressed up (including with fake Tahitian tatoos), and ate plenty of smores. In fact the Kids’ Club made the smores and sold them to raise money for future activities. Harrison was quite the salesman.

Below: Tammy (s/v Andiamo)a friend who also coordinates the Kids’ Club, bless her.

Below: Danielle and her many friends (l to r: Pari, Caroline, Danielle, Maya and Abigayle)
Harrison and his buddies (l to r: Drake, Christian, Mick, Harrison and a new friend). These boys are inseparable. Note Harrison carrying the tray of smores.
Several of the Puddle Jumpers have already departed. We have a lot to do before our turn. Thus, I’ll keep my post brief.
