One amazing thing about cruisers is that everyone helps each other. Typical example is George’s car. It doesn’t matter that it is 25 years old with 196,000 original miles, takes several tries to start it, sputters like it is dying when you turn the ignition off, and the roof vinyl has been ripped right off. George has given us free reign of his car anytime we need it, like for groceries, bringing in laundry or picking up guests at the airport. He handed over the keys to me after having met me for only 5 minutes. And this wasn't the first time that a cruiser has lent us a car before having exchanged more than a few words.
In return, Michael spent hours fixing George’s computer, saving him what would likely have been hundreds of dollars. Again, not the first time Michael has done that for a cruiser.
But that’s just what cruisers do.
